Bergeron y a cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9mystifier les diff\u00e9rents types de Syst\u00e8mes L\u00e9gers sur Rails du tramway traditionnel au m\u00e9tro l\u00e9ger automatis\u00e9, pr\u00e9senter les co\u00fbts r\u00e9els d&rsquo;un tram-train entre la Rive-Sud et le Centre-Ville de Montr\u00e9al et faire la d\u00e9monstration des avantages qu&rsquo;ont les SLR vis-\u00e0-vis des autobus pr\u00e9vus pr\u00e9sentement.<br \/>\nSelon le chef de Projet Montr\u00e9al, un tram-train serait la meilleure option pour la ville, car il r\u00e9pondrait mieux \u00e0 la demande de d\u00e9placement de la population, il valoriserait l&rsquo;utilisation du transport en commun et encouragerait le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique le long des lignes de SLR.<br \/>\nIl est \u00e0 noter que selon M. Bergeron, la construction d&rsquo;un tel tram-train pourrait se faire en parall\u00e8le avec le nouveau pont Champlain et ne prendrait donc que 4 ans \u00e0 implanter.<br \/>\nAussi, M.
