Charles Hamelin a remport\u00e9 son premier titre mondial au 1500\u00a0m devant le Chinois Tianyu Han et le Cor\u00e9en Se Yeong Park. La Canadienne Val\u00e9rie Maltais n\u2019a pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 atteindre le podium.<\/p>\n<p>Elle a fini quatri\u00e8me derri\u00e8re le tripl\u00e9 de Cor\u00e9ennes. Suk Hee Shim a gagn\u00e9 la m\u00e9daille d\u2019or, suivi de Kim Alang en seconde place et de Seung-Hi Park en troisi\u00e8me. Les autres Canadiens ; Olivier Jean et Charle Cournoyer chez les hommes et Marianne St-Gelais chez les femmes, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9limin\u00e9s en demi-finales. Le relais f\u00e9minin s\u2019est aussi assur\u00e9 une place en finale en finissant deuxi\u00e8me de leur vague en demi-finales.
