D\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re note, ils ont su faire bouger le public qui \u00e9tait d\u00e9cha\u00een\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute de leur musique entra\u00eenante. C\u2019est le groupe d\u2019origine montr\u00e9alaise Mountain Dust qui a su assurer la premi\u00e8re partie avec leur rock parfois lourd, parfois doux et m\u00e9lodique.<\/p>\n<p>Dead Meadow a \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9 en 1998 \u00e0 Washington D.C. alors que les trois membres du groupe \u00e9taient encore au secondaire. Ils ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 jouer de la musique en s\u2019inspirant des l\u00e9gendes du rock classique Pink Floyd et Black Sabbath.\u00a0 Ils ont m\u00eame d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de m\u00e9langer ces inspirations avec leur amour pour la fantaisie et l\u2019horreur de J.R.R. Tolkien (l\u2019auteur du Seigneur des anneaux) et de l\u2019auteur H.P.
