Une douzaine d&rsquo;oeuvres abstraites y \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es pour l&rsquo;occasion. Ces peintures forment un ensemble plut\u00f4t homog\u00e8ne, quoique bien unique \u00e0 leur fa\u00e7on.<\/p>\n<p>En jouant avec un fort contraste, l&rsquo;artiste est parvenue \u00e0 donner un effet de sombre et de lumi\u00e8re \u00e0 ses cr\u00e9ations; nous amenant ainsi quelques fois \u00e0 une r\u00e9flexion int\u00e9rieure. Il est \u00e9vident que ses oeuvres sont de nature tr\u00e8s sentimentale, peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame tr\u00e8s personnelle. Cette exposition est \u00ab\u00a0autobiographique jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 un certain point\u00a0\u00bb a mentionn\u00e9 l&rsquo;artiste. Celle-ci, d&rsquo;origine pakistanaise, s&rsquo;est beaucoup inspir\u00e9e de cette culture. Sa d\u00e9marche se base sur une recherche de soi-m\u00eame \u00e0 laquelle elle y a incorpor\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de son pass\u00e9 et de celui d&rsquo;o\u00f9 elle vient.
