En effet, chaque dimanche du mois d\u2019avril jusqu\u2019au mois d\u2019octobre, des centaines de Montr\u00e9alais se regroupent pr\u00e8s du monument Sir George-\u00c9tienne afin de relaxer et se divertir dans une ambiance festive. Plusieurs en profitent pour se faire dorer la couenne au soleil, tandis que d\u2019autres pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent danser au rythme entra\u00eenant des instruments de percussion. D\u2019ailleurs, n\u2019importe qui peut se joindre aux joueurs de tam-tams et ajouter sa touche personnelle \u00e0 la m\u00e9lodie. Si on le d\u00e9sire, on peut aussi se tenir un peu plus en retrait pour jouer au frisbee entre amis ou encore lire \u00e0 l\u2019ombre d\u2019un arbre, berc\u00e9 par le son lointain des tambours.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreux artisans et commer\u00e7ants s\u2019installent \u00e9galement \u00e0 l\u2019abord de la pelouse pour offrir leurs cr\u00e9ations aux passants.
