Terry Fox  s\u2019\u00e9tait fix\u00e9 comme objectif de faire une course Trans-Canada. Partant de St-John\u2019s \u00e0 Terre-Neuve il devait se rendre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00cele de Vancouver l\u2019\u00e9quivalant d\u2019une distance de plus de 5000 kilom\u00e8tres! Tout comme la devise du Canada, il voulait aller d\u2019un \u00ab\u00a0oc\u00e9an \u00e0 l\u2019autre\u00a0\u00bb. Pendant la course, il d\u00e9cida de changer son objectif premier, et ainsi d\u2019amasser 1\u00a0$ par personne\u2026 Ce qui en fin de compte \u00e9quivalait \u00e0 25 millions de dollars (population du Canada en 80).<\/p>\n<p>La g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 des gens \u00e9tait sans limites, et donc ce but accessible.   \u00c0 Montr\u00e9al, il fut impressionn\u00e9 par l\u2019attention que lui accordait les gens et m\u00e9dias. Il dut malheureusement s\u2019arr\u00eater au nord-est de Thunder Bay en Ontario, son cancer s\u2019en \u00e9tant pris \u00e0 ses poumons. Apr\u00e8s 143 jours de course, il avait parcouru une distance de 5373 kilom\u00e8tres. Terry Fox s\u2019est \u00e9teint le 28 juin 1981 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 22 ans\u2026 Il a suscit\u00e9 l\u2019enthousiasme et l\u2019espoir partout \u00e0 travers le monde.
